Premonition (story/essay)

    Do you believe in being able to see the future? Like, a psychic? Well, I do! In fact, I have kept many people out of a lot of trouble with my abilities! Yes, I myself am a psychic... go ahead, laugh, think what you want, I'm being serious! In fact, the last premonition I had was about a month or so ago... it was my ex's mom and his step dad (the one that I had written step-father for... yeah, that ass!) and he slapped her! (and not just the friendly slap either...) It hasn't happened yet... only because they haven't moved back in with him... I told him (The ex) about it, and he got the premonition JUST right!!! My thing is, that most of the time, it's like de ja vu... (spelling?) Have you ever had anything like this happen? You are sitting there, then all of a sudden, you just see a flash, like, light... but you can sort of see images... like a dream almost? That's a premonition!
    I know that this seems like really crazy, but it's true! What I am telling you is as real and true as I am sitting here typing this! When I said that he got it just right, I meant, when I told him, I couldn't remember much about it... until he explained something... their kitchen... not where they are now, but, the other one...
    How do I know this is a premonition? well, it's very simple, to be honest! I know this because I never have that happen, except when I have flashbacks of some things... I have never seen him hit her, so, it wasn't a flashback! it was a premonition.
    How can I stop it from happening? I know, keep her from moving in with him! I don't want to see that happen! I don't want to see ANYONE go through that... (not even the guy who used me... amazingly, even tho I WANT TO HURT HIM MYSELF!) Only other question about that is: HOW do I stop her from moving??? How can I change her nimd about moving, without telling her about this? I really have no answers for this one... I guess I will just have to play by ear and see what happens.
    So, now do you believe in being psychic? Do you believe in having premonitions? I, for one, know I do! I have them myself, so, of course I believe!
