All of my life I’ve only ever sought peace,
I was born with a deep empathetic soul.
My compassion gives me a sweet release,
and to assist others in this life is my goal.
If human hearts were made of pure gold,
I would sell mine to help someone in need.
Time to give back now, I am growing old,
I prefer not to live my final years in greed.
Each year I make jellies out of nature’s best,
takes me hours of hard work and my time.
I keep one or two, but still give away the rest,
they offer me money but I don’t want a dime.
Not many people are like me, so I’ve been told,
don’t know if that’s good or not, but its true.
I’m not the least bit shy, and I’m rather bold,
if you are a friend, I’ll always be there for you.
I love life I love people of every shape and kind,
I love this earth and the beauty that surrounds
Enjoy having peaceful easy feelings on my mind,
I love there's so much of life that still astounds!
I am unique like you, no one is quite like me,
I am grateful just for that, helps make me wise.
If we were all the same, how boring it would be!
I take pleasure in seeing life through others eyes.

Thank you for your kind comments, I make the jelly for my Dad and his friends, all in late 70's. They usually go out in the woods and pick wild berries, they bring them back to me to make jelly. I will be making jelly all month. Have made jelly all last month! If you want on the list, no problem

This wasn't as easy as I thought! Of course you know about my jelly routine since that is all I've been doing for awhile. I agree, this is a great exercise, I had to ask my husband "is this me?" he said, "yup, that's you." Nice to have you confirm it as well. You really should try this, I ended up finding out who I was! LOL

Very nice and very interesting to read. I knew most of this about you already, so none of it is a surprise...just interesting that you can define yourself so well. Perhaps this is an exercise that all of us should try...just for the sake of saying what we think and then seeing if others agree. I wish you much luck in this contest...you seem to be on a roll! Great job!
