Summer
Sweet mornings, simple nights
Through a soft green door
Hidden behind a shaded wall
Past the leaf littered floor
Safety
The branches catch you
Shielded behind crowded leaves
A gentle hand keeps you
Sealed by vivid green
Laughter
Caught inside the flowers
Fill them with their scent
Adorning the forest hallways
Chasing down the wind
Haven
Streets of damp moss
Branches hold the sky
Creeks of chilled spring water
Blooms that fade but never die
Peaceful
White honeysuckle sings
Accompanying morning dew
Even air tastes of warmth
Of approaching afternoon
The Woods
Kindly ask your surrender
Fade into the trees
Lie here forever
They'll never ask your leave

This gave me a very peaceful feeling. I wish I could spend some time in this place right now. I could use it. (Too much work.) Beautiful imagery. I liked the third stanza most, I think. The thought of laughter getting caught inside flowers. I remember an old line, "The earth laughs in flowers" so it's sort of the same idea.
Thanks for checking out my work today. I appreciate it.
