    ooh, interesting...
    yeah, indian summers can be like that... even the sunflower can't seem to stand the sun.. especially during may-july.. i keep getting heat rashes..

    i like the image you've expressed in this.. quite a chilling image actually.. but effective..
    congrats on the bronze.

    I like this haiku. Much is said in just a few words and the vision of the sunflower is very vivid
