lost in a world
of her own
with nowhere to go
no real toys to play with
dressed in prim and proper dresses
hair done neatly
eyebrows in perfect shape
no an inch of a flaw on her face
but her heart's filled
with scars and bruises
the beautiful garden
with roses and frogs
is her only escape
there she finds a golden egg
glowing from within
seeming almost blinding
but with such a warm feeling
radiating from within
given to her by her fairy friend
she wonders where it would lead her to
for once she feels
a sense of true happiness
in a world on her own
but it's such a pity
she's only six
