What I Fear

Feeling alone and
Feeling empty.
Two things not far
From my reach.

I put up my wall and
Hope for peace.
Amazing how when you’re
In darkness…you want
The one thing you can’t have…
The light.

Invisible little me
Oh please don’t
Notice me.

I cover my eyes
From the views I see.
Of losing everything
Around me.

Being alone
Without
Ever being alone.

Having nothing
With something
All around.

Total isolation…
With no imagination…
This is what I fear.
