i picked the memory songs
so i can understand flight
outside my window the world will whirl by
time will pass
lives will change
and i'll be above it all
in a momentary standby
waiting for things to fall into place

with each note
i'll feel the pain again
or the laughter in the breeze
i'll feel those arms around me
and know what i did wrong
and where i went right

i'll hear the voices of everyone
and each moment that brought me here
will be recalled
