Ponderous Rain

There’s something here that calms me,
Within millions of years of history,
It's seen all the different times and places.

Looking around I know that it's been here before,
Seen these walls,

Hit this floor.

Light runs through it,
It creates a rainbow,
changing everything that it touches to something new.
Giving birth to land and seasons,
Running in torrents through countries,
seeing the path of history,
Changing it to run along different streams.

Rain is more than water,
It's an ever present being.

A lovely description of rain. I loved the ending lines. This was very beautifully written. There is tons of imagery, and I truly enjoyed reading your piece.

    I loved this:

    Light runs through it,
    It creates a rainbow,
changing everything that it touches to something new.

    Simply beautiful. Best of luck

I like it. It's flow is a bit difficult to stay in, but it's idea and points are very clear.
