I'm not hurt
I never will be
I never was
And I will never hurt anybody
But we all know
This is not the true
It never will be

Heads surface
In a not-so-literal way
Eyes clear
And we awaken from this life
I am hurt
For any reason
And always will be
Invisibly
I will always hurt people
Even when I don't want to
Every choice I make
Is damaging
I believe
That this is life
We are tied to this chain
And this is an intolerable truth

I relate to this message in a lot of ways. However, one word of advice would be to use stronger words and work on the flow of this piece.
