Ponderings

It seemed like almost every student loathed you
I will never figure out why
You are so kind
How could anyone find
you dislikable?
All I ever recieved from you
was infinite encouragement
and support through tough times
You were always there

I was a cutter,
on the verge of suicide,
the summer before I met you
I prayed for an angel
you were the answer
As troubled as I am,
I would not be here,
If it hadn't of been for you

But now I sit here wondering,
what it was that I did do
Please don't tell me I pushed you away, too!
You haven't emailed me
in over two months,
Why?

If you ever read this, (you said you'd check out my poetry but I don't think you did, but if you're seeing this I guess you have), I am sorry if I irritated you, or whatever it was....I always had to email you, you only replied then, so I figured you didn't care. Oh well, what's done is done.

    sorry... this is obviously personal

    and it speaks of pain, but what I was asking for was a description of a meaningful personal connection, this seems more confessional or pleading in nature and a lot more literal than what I was looking for... I was looking for an inspiring poem about a successful meaningful personal connection and this seems a dark take on what may very well be a lost personal connection...

    I am sorry for you loss, but I think that this piece, perhaps, would be better suited for a different contest...

    Sometimes you expect people to always be there for you and never change. its sad that the nicest people can be so cruel. Its unexplainable sometimes. But then again, not alot in this world makes sense. Sux but its true. I shall not be broken!! lol.
