"A love can always bend and break
It can grow stonger with a goodbye
But the love from one, you cannot take
With a heartache, a kiss, or a lie"
You came to me, When I was empty
You loved me until I was full
You blessed me with forgivness
Leaving me stronger, and whole
You Gave me something useful
A tool, to fix everything
You gave me love & laughter
Upon my finger a diamond ring
You salvaged all that was left of me
Carried me through the storms of life
You pieced together my mishaps
Creating a woman who, could survive
You managed to find solace
Wrapped in these arms of unspoken regrets
And fall soundly on the pillow
Next to a woman with tattered threads
You created a whole new part of me
To love, To laugh, To live
And I realized
The love from a woman, Far from perfect
Is The perfect gift, To give.
