A woman a lady
your baby
lover mmmm what a lover
we have fun in our bed
I make your dinner
you eat a lot
I cuddle on your lap
and listen to you talk
your arms are so strong
heart beats like music
I love so much it makes me cry
wake up in the morning
alone in our bed
note by my pillow
I love you in red
stand by the mirror
hands on my curves
thinking of our differences
God in his wisdom
made things just right

Doghouse
For the love of my life I would write her an entire poem on the whole pillow after that sort of night and meal. On the flip side I would write. New pillow case in the closet. Just to keep myself out of the doghouse.

Love notes on the pillow ~ is such a lovely sign of love ~ Someone who takes that extra time to do something extra special ~ it shows you what love is all about ~
Thanks so much for entering the "Set the bar" contest ~ i do appreciate you sharing your work with me ~ Best of luck to you! -
Definately adorable. Everyone knows I like Love poems. My favorite line is, "I make your dinner
you eat a lot" now that is the way to a man's heart! lol at least mine.

Oh that is so sweet, it is absolutely adorable. My favorite lines are:
wake up in the morning
alone in our bed
note by my pillow
I love you in red
stand by the mirror
hands on my curves
That is just so wonderful. You show so much passion, and define love in such a marvelous way. This is so good, thank you so much for sharing it with me! and thank you for entering into the contest, and best of luck to you as well...!! -
When we write something, it becomes our child.
Does not matter if it gets arrested or goes wild.
The cops may say the damn thing is too too simple
but it is your poem when you read it it has a dimple.

Yeah, it's good, but not 4000 points good. I would like to see less meter in this - the lines are so evenly metered that the words almost rhyme...and in something as simply stated as this, that isn't a good thing.

What a quaint and indicitive poem, and by "quaint" I don't mean measly. I read this as a spontaneous, concise, sweet poem written by someone with a good feel for Love. And I love that it isn't grandiloquently put, but rather simple. As to say: even Love this simple is Love that puts master artists' skills to shame.
I really enjoy this; and I wish you well in the contest.
