Moved out to this windswept place
An outback of dust, bush and space
a fragile flower lives and grows
Here on these barren plains
far from the rivers and rains
is my daughter Jasmin Rose
Your face holds a beauty spot
Perfect smile reveals a lot
You're beautiful and you're mine
You are a younger me
a wild flower growing free
Wish I could slow the hands of time
In life you're the brightest touch
Your father loves you oh so much
When I tell you, your face glows
You are a drama queen
a good heart and never mean
Never wilt my dear desert rose
Dedicated to my daughter Jasmin Rose

Sweet treasure
Aww this was so beautiful, about a father's love for his daughter. It reminds me of me and my father when I was younger. I like the "drama queen" part. This was so lovely -

Thanks Megs, thought I'd better break up the mad geeky movie poetry with something meaningful. Heh

Glad you liked it. She wishes we spelt her name Jasmine instead of Jasmine. Sigh... what was I thinking? Rose seemed too perfect not to add.
