Observation of School Lunches

School lunch- eww
well its not just about
the food right??

Get in line...
talk,talk,tak- quit talking,
grab your food!

Hurry get a
seat- by yourself or with
some old friends.

Meet new people
if you like (you do
not have to!!).

Eat more than
you talk or talk more
than you eat.

Whatever floats your
boat dude! OR you could
just skip lunch.

Its school lunch-
people eat, people talk, people
skip during lunch.

Well its school
lunch again... what are you
going to do???

Them School lunches made you appreciate your Mothers cooking... I know that much for sure. School dinners had that nasty trick of mixing cabbage with Mash Potato. I quickly said goodbye to that part of school life.

I would end up going to my grandmothers for a bit of spoiling... She liked me for that.

Great write, thanks for the trip down memory lane.
All the best in the contest.

    Welcome to AllPoetry

A great take on school lunch. I think we probably do all those things at some time during the school year. Well, I am not sure if I ever talk more that I eat at any food occasion But I really did enjoy the poem. It brought back memories.

    Thanks for entering

Pretty much says it all. Talking, eating and mixing with friends or just sitting in the corner and observing. Nice write.

Good luck - let the ink flow and your fingers dance

Yes I liked your poem. Obviously an important part of your school day. The socialising I guess is very important too.

    Welcome to AllPoetry

    Hi Cirket

I like this write, mainly because here in Australia we do not have 'cafeterias' like in the USA
We just have 'Canteens' where you stand in line, get a meat pie or some hot chips and then wonder round the school eating, talking or just walking

    Much more relaxed

    Great write !
    Thank you for your entry
BEST of luck in the contest
    Stay safe
