You showed us how to imagine,
Living life in peace,
You gave us instant karma,
So that we all shine on
You gave peace a chance,
And that's all we are saying
You created working class heroes,
So that we had something to be,
You wanted us to give you some truth,
Now all we want is the truth,
You tried to give power to the people,
Now we say we want a revolution,
We love you,
And you are greatly missed.

Again, this is not a man that I consider a personal hero of mine by any stretch of the imagination, though I can see why so many people hold him as such and this piece is a good reflection of that. Gets right to the heart of the man and his messages and is a good, loving dedication piece.
Good write and congrats on silver.

Amen
Ive been waiting to get something like this, a tribute to one of the greatest legends of all time. Im starting another contest thats just about the rock legends that have passed, and i would really really like you to enter that one as well, with this or any other piece you might have on a legend. I think it would do very well... ::wink wink::
Thank you so much for entering and hopefully see you in the next contest!!
