I went to bed at night knowing
I had a dentist appointment early in the morning.
I figured I needed good rest
so I snuggled up to my blanket and fell asleep.
My mind began to drift and I dreamed
of Laffy Taffy Town and a dentist's enemys.
Suddenly my dream erupts into a total candy world explosion
I dreamed cotton candy clouds and cake beds with chocolate icing
I looked around seeing ginger bread cookie people
and gummy bears that wanted to play with me
So they rode over to me on a stick pretzel moving sidewalk
and they asked me, "Do you wanna hula hoop with these Life Savers?"
"No Thank You," I said." I think I will just explore this beautiful place."
So I got on the Lemondrop tour bus
(with licorice door handles of course)
and the tour guide told us many different things
like how the rich people would have cheese cake beds
and the poor people would sleep
on rough wheat cracker beds.
I had almost cried when she told me that.
Suddenly a fierce siren went off.
The bus started shaking and the gumdrop traffic lights fell out
and a big gloved hand came out of the cotton candy sky!
All the gummy bears screamed with a loud voice of fear!
All the ginger bread kids started going crazy.
Meanwhile, I sat there confused and was curious.
I asked the bear,"What is going on? Why is everybody scared?"
Everyone shouted to me "THE DENTIST IS HERE!!!"
"Oh No," I yelled,"not the dentist!"
Suddenly apples and carrots started falling from the sky.
Veggies were hitting all of our heads. And we were worried like crazy!
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH" We all shouted.
"Mommy, help me!," cried a toffee kid named Heath.
The blaring siren hurt my ears, until I woke up breathing hard,
and heard that the siren was my alarm clock ringing
to wake me for my dentist appointment.
