The Mask For The Lies

Hair of red
A cloak of pink
Lips of peach
A basket in hand
Oh isn't she just the sweetest girl in the land?
With a teddy bear of white named snow in her arms
She skips to deliver goodies
She just like little red riding hood
Except she gets no happy endings
Her smile so bright and sweet words seem so pure
Though her eyes tell the truth
Someone is hurting her
She never wears short selves
She always says she is cold to keep covered
She hides in the cornor until he leaves
She does as she's told
But you see she wants to disobey
No one sees the cuts on her arms
The marks on her back
Or the scars on her legs
The sweet little girl won't say a word
She is scared no one would love her
She also fears his words when he says he will kill her and her mother if she speaks
So silent she remains
But seems so sweet and more
No one ever knew that the sweet little girl who delivered their cookies
Was abused by her father
Only when older does she feel free
And walks away from the pain that tries to remain
He got worse and worse
He almost killed her
So finally she stands strong and stays away
She told him the day that she left "Come near me again and I will shoot your brains out."
She is still sweet
She is just scared
Carries a gun in her purse and one in her pocket
Maybe some day she will be free
But hey that day isn't today

Author notes

This isn't real, I made this story up. but stuff like this really happens. I wrote this because my father doesn't seem to think parents can hurt their kids. he thinks that parents can do anything to their kids and it isn't considered anything wrong. so I write this to inform you. plus.... my father is an idiot and we all know he is wrong. if you want to say so, say so.

enjoy...

A very sad story well told. these things happen daily, though never should, and those who commit the crimes never see it as wrong...... or that they are harming their victim...
This is a story that can never be told too often in an effort to stop abuse.
