Lost to warmth,
but feeling the brush.
subtle strokes turned bold,
turning night into golden lush.
Cryptic hints of colors worn,
seeming a reflection in the swiftest drop.
Surfaces of alabaster dropped with amber and night.
on the canvas, layers and layers atop.
Pulling the eyes to view clouds of tinted blue,
quirkling the lips to the golden confusion.
taking the mind and pulling it through,
to a wonder of nights illusion.
sinking back down from far,
to right with amber jewels.
artists hands lay down,
dirty artist tools.

To me this a very abstract piece, very beautiful, very well written.I liked the way you wrote it and displayed it. The words are very nicely put.
Great job! -
Interesting concept,
that of "...taking the mind
and pulling it through..."
as relative to the creation of art.
