She falls-
Her glassy curve
a droplet of clarity
trembling at the wind’s touch.
The sky weeps for her loss.
She comes to me-
Pure and holy
with sighing kiss
Cleanses and caresses
Before spilling
into lonely anonymity.
Author notes
I was walking through the rain and had this swirling through my head. I really do love the rain.

I love the rain, too.
'Glassy curve' was gorgeous...it reminded me of a wineglass belling out...and 'pure and holy' was really simple and pretty...almost cathedral-y in its sense of quietness and calm.
The rain always makes me feel sort of hushed and centred and nostalgic and calm...and that's mirrored really prettily in your writing.
Lovely, Ms.Sarah. Lovely.

That is beautiful and very suitable for a Manchester United fan, drip.
Seriously, this was beautiful.
Seriously, Man Utd fans are drips.
I wonder if it was raining in Coventry?
