My dear Lord and God Jesus
How I pray for Maddy
No love can reach greater than a parents
Nothing can repair the loss or hurt placed.
Oh Lord, but Your love can heal
Your love can mend a broken heart
Where the pain reaches deep
Nobody can truly understand,
But Lord you understand the pain.
Let no man place judgement
On what has been done
Judgement does not heal
It only makes the pain worse.
Dear Lord please bring Maddy home safely
Lord let healing replace the brokeness
In Maddy's parents lives
Lord help to repair that which is broken.
Lord only in Your power can You heal the hearts
Of the broken hearted
Lord I call out to You
To heal the loss, hurt and guilt
These parents feel.
Help them know that You love them
That you are there in every moment of pain
Lord there is no words for the depth of loss
Nothing, but Your love can mend.
Oh Lord be with this family
Help them to carry on their lives
And to remember the good times
Of love and laughter.
What this family has been through
Not one of us can understand
The constant pressure of the media
The accusations from strangers
The guilt
The pain of not knowing
Waking each day to a replaying nightmare
Lord you gave Your life so we could be near You.
You gave Your life so we could experience Your love greater and deeper.
Lord You are a God of miracles
I pray that You will restore this family
Heal the emptiness and lonliness and bring them out of solitude.
Lord show this family that You are there with them in the midst of all this madness.
Where no-one else understands You understand and love them with a never ending love.

I cannot understand the loss that Maddy's family feel I can only say that my heart goes out to them and only with Jesus and time can you heal.

Very well put together
Unfortunately some people see this as nothing more than a long running news story in which they are not involved. When something like this happens everybody is involved. Maybe the only way to make sense of anything like this prayer. -
