~
Etching pallid dreams across canvas
draped with meaningless damask coffins,
that hold mortal's inner essence
binding though to stilt surface
of prejudice realities.
A torn feather from holy wings
encircling the wounded azure skies
bereft of residues of emotions cast,
that rested beneath growing disorder
in this cruel acutality.

This is really deep. This is the first entry I have read based on the phrase. Nice job! Good luck in the contest.
