it's time for back to college
it's time to get back to the grind
it's time to get more knowledge
and be swamped with all they assign
college is hard, it's tough
all the papers, quizzes, and tests
there's no room for you to bluff
you try to study more as your body rests
it's what the teachers don't tell you
as they pile on work more and more
they don't even give you a clue
that you learn more outside the classroom door
so take the time, take a chance
have some fun while it lasts
live your life, make it a dance
because college goes way to fast

It is very, very true. Yes, there is lot of work, but it is also the time to have fun and make the best friends you will ever make. This was a good piece. Welcome to AP. I hope you have fun reading, commenting on others' words and writing your own.

My parents used to tell me that I would miss school one day. I thought they were mad, but now that I am much older, I must admit they were right. I do miss some of the moments shared in those years.

So honestly true
I've just entered college, and it seems to have been only a week, and yet it has been almost two months...This poem is soo true....And it's sad to think that I will be leaving here soon to go on to the next college...LOVE this poem because of how true it is, and the rhyming scheme is very nice..
