I would see her now and then,
While running through the woods.
Arisen from the grave,
A spirit from the hoods.
I was scared, I ran from her,
But she always chased me down.
Grabbed my hair, bit my neck,
And threw me on the ground.
She was cold to the touch,
But warm on the inside.
I forgot that she was dead
Her desire to abide.
~and she gratified me~
So now on misty mornings,
I always run again.
Looking for the monster,
That will take me in again.

Okay that was just creepy. And if I understood right, just disgusting. But I guess that was the point, right? I really felt like I was running through the woods, like I too was chased. Your words really sucked me in. Great job!

Tween cradle and coldness
Tween fear and alive
The souls ever searching
to help it get by
Tween laughter and loving
Tween sorrow and gain

to what helps us remain
Have a great week...
