haha ... I've always heard of mother-in-laws being extreme torture ..
It happens especially in religious cultures where that same person is in charge of the whole household - so you can just sit and imagine that.
This was very enjoying to read.
All the best and keep writing,
Never ♥

Whew!
Now that sounds like my mother in law. Great job. Best of luck in the contest.

gosh... this really cracked me up.. it reminds me of the stereotyped Indian Mother-In-Laws..
and the way the media promotes the goody ones..
but yeah, some sure are...
witty... thanks for the laugh!

There are definitely evil people in the world, and some of them grow up to be 'mothers-in-law'! Truly FABULOUS pic! Sorry you experienced first-hand...

lol.this is funny.

Gosh, Brenda, do I know the evil-type! Not necessarily evil when I met 'em, but by the time I got rid of 'em--(well, ridded myself of their sons that is), they were mean!
Great haiku and absolutely perfect image too! Thanks so much for this entry to the contest.

LOL Oh, this one made me laugh, and the graphic! Your author's notes are great, you never know which type of mother-in-law you might get! Thank you for your haiku!
