Worm Before The Turn, Or After - Silver

Missing image

Such beauty from a quick pull-away wrap
that holds a squiggling undetermined grossness

seen from afar is fine
but up close and personal  no

I would not have befriended you
knowing you might not have turned
as most of you do

into something almost disgusting

this beast that beauty makes

crawling on all fours or eights or hundreds
as if they had a secret,

which they might,

but I am waiting for this grand god
to make something of me
that I never expected

or metamorphous beast in you
back to who I thought you were

Oh but how many times have I felt like this. There are times when I know I should continue to become what God intended me to become, yet there is always someone that makes that hard. Lovely entry. Best wishes and God Bless...

Oh you are so right...I remember fearing being made joyful or having something awesome happen because it seemed like that is when the hardest negative forces came to bear.

Carol, I disagree with Tireseus...sometimes...a write like this, it helps someone else to be able to keep their own head above the cocoon...real life has real s**t, sometimes, and you have a sword of truth in your heart no matter your mood, in my opinion..so, thanks for this one...peace to you, Rhonda

Excellent. Shifts seamlessly from metaphor to meaning and back. Beautiful language and an arresting title.
