And in an instant it was all so clear.
Rays of sun snap through the gray.
And the path glows in the night.
No lamps needed, my feet pad down this trail, illuminated by my heart.
Every step made easier by the curtains drawn aside.
I see no longer the mossy stones behind which this path treads.
Nor am I aware of how many streams it fords.
I can see the ocean at the far reaches of its end.
And one day I will float along its shores.
