Key to luscious breath,
and pleasant emotions.
Love removed,
results in ultimate destruction
of all that is light,
neverending darkness.

A powerful piece! I do enjoy short poems, my attention is hard to keep but also I think a lot more work and thought go into them. You have done a wonderful job here. Best of luck in the contest!

I do love short poems because although it is important to look at every word no matter how long the poem is, it is especially important to do so with short ones. Each word has to be carefully selected. I liked it. Good job!

How true, without some form of love, it is destruction, whether self inflicted or not.
Nicely done take on the prompt.
Thank you for entering and good luck.

this is a bleek outcome if one does not have love.
for without love, there is no true self in a black and white world.
