Hurt lays heavy on a heart
it can't cover your eyes
to flaws
only seems to magnify them.

you loom large
a bold thing
 I can't touch.

this soul
and heart

and nothing can stop
this train wreck of emotions
not even the wall you
are building

Each brick only serves
as a reminder of what
was and should be.
