From the Show Me state of Missouri
Lou Ann Crowley born Mary Lou Crowley
enters the scene with an outstanding
Fundraising Concert, jam packed with
electrifying talent.
From youth Crowley carried the torch of
freedom; a rebel from birth
she marched for peace, animal rights
women's rights, black rights and
the elderly's rights.
Currently we find her on top of the
charts investing her talent and energy
in a Benefit Concert for World Peace
scheduled for February 9th; this is a
solo-victory denoting her pure intention.
Press and other Media Moguls are jumping on her tail
following her dust as she propels the public
on the old idea with new verve
that peace is what we all crave
no matter how many homes and cars and
furs we own or partners we own.
Don't miss Lou Ann Crowley in
Z'MAN MIDBAR'S Fundraising Concert
"Hearts and Hands United For Peace!"

Ok, this is a great little biographical poem but what I am actually asking for in this contest is a short bio like what would appear in the back of a magazine or on the side of a column you write for a newspaper. Please see the examples in the link I provided, and rather than take this poem down, add your bio to your author's comment box.
If I, as an editor, were working with the material in this poem, for instance, I might write something like:
Born in the Show-Me state of Missouri, Mary Ann Crowley
is an animal and civil rights activist currently devoted to Z'MAN MIDBAR'S fundraising concert, "Hearts and Hands United For Peace."
Thank you. -
