I want

I want to be in a band
But there are none around

I want a song that sings what's inside
But I can't write it

I want to be a normal teenager
But I can't get past "the look"

I want to be proud of the changes I've made
But I'm too afraid of you

I want your life
And you want mine
So what are we to do?

I like this poem a lot. is the first poem I've read for a while, a nice 'welcome back'.
    I especially love this part
'I want to be proud of the changes I've made
But I'm too afraid of you'.
sounds just like me when I'm only dreaming of being frank enough to finally save my life from the torment caring stabs at me with. Awesome poem
