The pool in the garden holds secrets within
The man who discovers them is certain to win
If you get it just right, and the practice takes year
A beautiful woman just sometimes appears
To the man with the pool she is drawn without hope
As though she were tied to the end of a rope
And if before dusk she is safe in his bed
And in less than a week they are legally wed
She will bear him three children and when they fly the nest
She'll return to her pool for a very long rest
