He waits in the darkness
Eyes watching for his prey
That slips silently along
He licks his lips
The phantom taste of her
Lingering in the cool air
Still as stone, he stands
Hearing her heart beat
Beneath soft white flesh
The scent makes him yearn
Makes him fight the urge to pounce
And sink his teeth into her sanguine soul
When she is close enough to feel
He reaches for her
Dragging her into the depths of the shade
And it is there that he feeds
On her blood and on her skin
Relishing her warmth
As she cries out in pleasure

Hmmm... you didn't really seem to put your heart into this piece. It was just missing that something, you know. However, the wording was quite lovely here. I especially liked the lines:
The scent makes him yearn
Makes him fight the urge to pounce
And sink his teeth into her sanguine soul
Nice how you show the actual yearning her, but I wish you could have done a bit more with that.
