Never felt before by my
Poor and wounded heart,
I wait and have patience.
Love will come.
A love that will start revolutions deep
Within my soul and lift me to a higher
Plain, where enlightenment will happen.
A love that will encompass all of my past
And wash me clean, like tear from the whore
That cleansed the feet of our Lord.
I must hold on,
To what I own,
What I know and feel.
Love will come.
A love that will tend to the wounded
And weeping children in all the corners
Of the world, starving for men’s greed.
A love that will punish the wicked and
Exalt the worthy, raising them up
To the right hand of the Father in Heaven.
Have faith now,
Hold tight to the truth.
It was written long ago,
Love will come again.

I didn't mean for this poem to turn out like this. It was supposed to be about a loving relationship but then decided to turn itself into a religious poem. If it offends you in any way, i apologise now. Hope you like it though...
