the sun ~ rise to goodbyes (haiku chain)

morning rays brighten
peeking through the dusky clouds
starting a new day

rising high above
dancing warmth upon my skin
shining spirits soar

gliding 'cross the sky
prismatic beauty now seen
soothing colors show

goodbyes coming soon
decends horizon slowly
time to say goodnight

Wow this certainly encourages some wonderful images to form in my mind. Sunrises and sunsets are so magical - you have captured their true essence in this poem. Not the best haiku?!? It's still a great one!

    Good luck in the contest

I think you did a fine job with this chain. It presented a story line filled with a flow of imagery from start to finish. Excellent writing. Good luck in the contest

    Domo Origado

Exacting and as precise as any Imperial Japenese writer would do - each standing on their own - yet also tied together for the bigger picture
    Wondefully done
