Together for over a year
I thought thing's were fine
We talked about marriage
Even set the date
With a kiss and I love you
You were off to work to do what you do
Only to find out later that day
You went much further away
A week before the big day
And you didn't have the courage to stay
The family we were planning
Now is starting to disinigrate
All the promisess made
Has started to now fade
Yet the tears continue to flow
Unwanted with nowhere to go
With all of your thing's still here
I'm facing my biggest fear
You made me complete
Now i'm just a shell of defeat
I now have a hole in my soul
How am I to just let you go ?

Life and the quest for love can be so sad. At times we look past that person for our own reason, sex, security and trust. But I am old and I have always hoped for that TENTH women
