Lately I'm extremely depressed
seems my thoughts can seldom rest
I am sad, so sad it's true
and my hearts a toxic blue.
Teardrops soak my almond eyes
I have told so many lies
pretending though my hearts in sorrow
for me there is no tomorrow.
Moonless nights and days of gray
love for me was cast away
floating on a windless sea
drowning in my own self pity.
Suddenly a glimpse of light
appeared before my teary sight
took my trembling breath away
gave me hope for another day.
He was something to behold
skin of bronze yet tinged with gold
sparkling teeth and emerald eyes
and he was just the perfect size.
Not too tall but not too short
with perfect hands I must report
Let me tell you about his hair
he has none but I don't care.
And when he spoke I near fell out
don't know what I was thinking about
Yes I was struck and oh so scared
returning slowly from the dead.
I know this might sound strange ofcourse
but yes, he was hung like a horse
For all of you who need to know
it really doesn't matter though.
Our friendship grew, we fell inlove
we fit each other like a glove
He makes me laugh he makes me glow
he turns those gray skies white as snow.
To all of you who felt like me
and think that love will never be
You feel you may not get the chance
to live and love and find romance.
Well, I'm here to say that yes you can
someday you'll find your perfect man.
And just like me you will be blessed
two love birds snuggling in their nest.

this is nice, but quite simple to me in a way that u started off quite in pain and then towards the end something swept your pain away just like that..the rhymes were good, but the contents quite forgettable.
