We verbally spar over dinner, not a mean demonstration at all,
quite the opposite, double meanings, the hidden messages.
Soft music playing in the background, candles burning.
Looks between us both, the licking of lips on her part,
a smile and a wink on mine, I feed her a strawberry;
She sucks on it before the bite, running her tongue over it,
a passionate, playful, promising look in her eyes.
A foot that travels up a leg under the table,
hand resting on mine lightly after fingertips trail down an arm.
Sudden laughter, an endearing giggle over nothing much at all,
eyes alight with mischief and love, or is it lust?
I mention the melon, how juicy and delicious it is,
all the while staring at her breasts, a blush creeps to her face.
Praising her beauty in that dress, and how much I enjoy her company,
blushing again,she grins and throws a kiss,
I catch it and stuff it into my pocket, vowing to keep it forever.
We both laugh as I lean over the table,
hand on her chin to kiss her gently.
I call for the check so we can at last go home to make love.

Foreplay is an art, rarely practiced with any amount of subtlety or skill these days. It starts very early in the evening or even the day with a text message or short phone call. An almost forgotten but oh, so important, part of seduction. Too many Men and Women both leave out this essential and often very romantic part of making Love to their spouse or significant other. It's a shame really.

The first passage so reminds me of me and my hubby of 34 years. We still play footsie under the table in restaurants. LOL He is a quiet man and I am a raging lunatic but the tables do turn at the appropriate time.
Foreplay is the best play ever created and you my friend know it very, very well. Great entry here and so worthy of the merit received.
