Trough reduction searching for the essence, the tiniest of tiny that directs large worlds that are largely unaware of their essence. Much of what we think we know is saturated with unawareness. Almost every step toward levels of tinier objects indicates that what we used to think before it was discovered was basically not what we thought it was. Matters are often utterly void of logic, but since it is quite common we all believe what scholars told us about it is true. But the continuing search for the essence of matter effortlessly makes fools of the wise and sometimes the opposite. Thank you for this poetical dance toward the essence, precious soul. Well done indeed Ack,

    Chris

The size and shape of your heart knows no bounds. Leave it to Myra to solve the most complex problems in the simplest of terms. Excellent analysis M'Lady.

    Sincerely,

    meta-mathematical

Who but you would speak of geometry and the soul's tears in the same thought? I think it works, we need to find order and reason even/especially for our hearts. Your poem reminds me of the famous drawing by Leonardo da Vinci of the man in the circle and square.

    experimental

    circulate the circle
    until square loses geometry
    articulate the obvious
    triangular thirst for symmetry
    its human need for perfection
    ancient and divine
    translating into asymmetry

    tuning space into place
    it's how music birthed

      Ah Poet!

Seeing that this contest is over, tell me what you think of my countdown!

I so enjoyed doing this. The reason (hahahahaha!) why I miscalculated the lines is simple: I was fast asleep while writing this, for it was late at night South African time! So: don't you think I should get a special clap?

I really really really enjoyed this contest. Thank you for hosting it.
