Looking Out the Window I see...

Looking out the window, I see
A very large tree.
Its branches are curved and are ready to steal
A very fine meal.
I think I hear it saying my name
Very quietly- through the rain
It blows in the wind, pulling me close
In a very odd pose.

Looking out the window, I saw
A very large lawn.
And on the lawn, was a black cat.
Ready to take a nap.
It stared at me, its eyes full of glee
And the I started to see
The ghosts, the ghouls, coming closer,
Thinking to haunt me.
Right then and there, I swear,
I wanted my mommy.

I screamed and ran through the house
Trying to find a way out.
Looking behind me I see a clock
Just then, it struck 5, and it mocked.
The shadowy creatures fading away…
Anxiously waiting for 365 days.

Author notes

option 5- inspired by choice A!!
I'm eleven years old.
This was the funnest to write out of ALL my poems that I have written.
Just for some informatin, the "365" in the last line is pronounced "three sixty five," not "Three hundred and sixty five," Because that doesn't flow well
