Loneliness, is having no one to turn to
One person surrounded by many, feeling lost, no one to talk to
Nothing can take away the pain of that fear of being alone
Everyone has experienced it, frightening, your heart is like a stone
Love, is what is needed to make ones heart warm
It is the ultimate healing to make one calm
Nothing can take away that feeling of gloom
Expectations unrewarded in a crowded room
Solitary dismissal of humans is the ultimate sin
So remember that loneliness comes from within

you have described loneliness in a very simplistic way for all to understand, and the different kinds of ways it can be felt. almost brings out alot of the ideas that i had used as an intro to the contest suggestions on the front page. poetry is to be creative and from your own mind, and also takes practice and skill to describe it. i think yoiu could have done more with this, but it is a good base poem for a follow up.
