If love is like fire, can it be too intense ?
If love is all desire, can it ever make sense ?
My mind winds over these questions like a
squirrel winds through the pickets on a fence

Gray Squirrel Harbor Tale
I watch a harbor grey named McTavish
always so intense in his search
where RV's come and go...
But he knows nothing of picket fences,
simply pauses where the stillness transforms
him into a solitary grey statue on a grassy knowl.
Will he will survive the onslaught of winter
Does he cache for a wouldbe mate?
I wonder...
Maybe love just is,
like stillness he breathes,
and the soft air of summer.

Love's intigue in unique imagery
I like the imagery you chose of the squirrel. These thoughts do sometimes scamper through your mind, darting and flashing tails, then sometimes they stop, look at you with big, sweet eyes and mesmerize you until you move close enough to touch---and then they dart away again! This is a very thought-provoking technique, on a subject full of mystery!

I believe it can be too intense
does love ever make sense I don't know.
I often ask myself that question.
Thought provoking.
