The power of the pen
Is the power of the sword,
Where secrets are revealed
Memories are stored.
Energy created
By one single thought,
Bringing love to life
Wars to be fought.
Opening minds
Is like opening doors,
One simple thought
Energy soars.
Planting a thought
In an open mind,
Creates truth to grow
Lies to bind.
The power of the pen
Creates our fate,
Will we write about love?
Will we write about hate?

Truly an exceptional piece of thought ~ Poetry! A lot of thought must of went into this, because every word, every line and every stanza were just perfect and as sharp as a sword.

Hello Pisces Rainbow.
Thought I would check one of your old ones out, seeing as there was nothing new. This is a strong piece, valid questions, and thoughts on the polarities, and the things the come from them. The spark is always a thought, a belief, an emotion, and the stroke of a sword or a pen can often be all either side needs.

there is much to be said for words...they can speak to a blind person...or blind hearts...they can tell truths or lies...hinder or mend...yes the pen is much more powerful than idle thoughts...lovely rhyme too...like this..

this is a beautiful truth - and an excellent poem - it's what I call a poem for sure - it rhymes and flow are great - and the poem contains a message - I wote a poem called "the Pen" but I havent posted it yet - but I did write one called "A Word" which I posted - it goes along the same lines as tour beautiful poem here - keep on keeping on - Bless God - Joe -- the pen is mightier than the sword -
