What an interesting haiku, but what a bad forecast! Good luck in the contest(s).

    Kudos.

    ??????????

I think if you switched the last two words (which isn't necessary, or perhaps even desirable, but just to make a point here...)

    Forecast for this week
    Lows on Monday expected
    Suitably distress(ed)

you see that expected is past-tense, so the last line, still part of the forecast, should be past tense too. Optimally then:

    Forecast for this week
    Lows on Monday expected
    Distressed suitably

    or

    Forecast for this week
    Lows on Monday expected
    Suitably distressed

    GLITCH!

    I LOLed.

    Cute.

Sorry for the lack of depth, but I suppose turnabout is fair play. ^^

Thank you again for this entry, Carly.

My grandmother used to call Mondays "Blue Mondays," and your haiku reinforces that thought in a fun way. I really like the play of words in "distress carefully!"

I'm guessing as this being your last post, this is the haiku you made mention...

I really like the play on words in the last line...and I know that "lows of Monday" feeling, especially this being one of those Mondays.

Great haiku, and pass me over a mssage when you're on, OK?
