A Means to an End

Faltering confidence
gives little hope for
success, as rapidly
creeping darkness
envelopes, like a
villainous cape
and soon, all
eventually
fades to
black.

    WOW!

No need for extra words with this poem! You got to the point and used as few words as possible! We all have the feeling that no matter how hard we try, we will never be what our false confidence leads us to believe! I know I have had doubts about the confident front I put up for others. Thank you for sharing tis insightful poem. It expresses such a STRONG feeling in such a short and to the point way! Hope to read more of your work! Keep writing...
