Autumn Sighs, When Leaf-ladies Fall

~

Her mistrals to weep
as palm of aurburn hand

netted veins to trod
upon leaflet surface,
residing within is debris,
of bared breast

from her barked lover.

Winds to sweep hearts
off as meaningless paper

          drowning

within glorious twilight,
as September tolls
capture engraved souls,

inside passion
of arched branches

that meet each other
before their limbs

fall limp in Autumn
in celestial fall
of an angel's halo.

Beautiful figurative language rendered. The images are clear and inseparable to the mind and heart.

Wonderful take on the poem prompt.

Thanks for sharing and best of luck

    Keep the ink flowing.

This is beautiful, my friend... loved the metaphor of falling here...the leaves as stars. Wonderful poetry!
