I'm sorry for the emptiness I've created.

There is an empty cage
in the sink
a life was lived within that place
he breathed and lived.

and I am empty cage girl
the tragic imperfection expressed
isn't where you think it is

but me.

I can't make words out of nothing
nothing I can say will make
you feel better

because I'm not the one that
is meant to be the home
for your heart.

It's like a puzzle piece
you press with all your might to fit
and it comes so close
except for that last
tiny little particle piece.

I'm sorry for the emptiness I've created.

Please tell me what you think

Your cage is not empty you hold someones heart and do not even realise it. it never flew away just hid from your sight.
