A girl of silence,
Lies beneath the society,
Of the loved, the damned
And painfull anxiety
A girl of emptiness,
Neither sweet
Neither sour,
Burning in the fire,
Of no weakness yet no power.
She still survives with out a heart
And barely a soul,
Her life never in sync
Or out of control.
A girl of no dreams,
watches as the people around her live in a city,
Of desires and hope,
And roads full of debris
With happiness you will always find sorrow,
With apathy you will find a waif,
Who is the girl of nothing,
A girl that does not love.
A girl that will not be missed as she
Withers away

wow that is amazing. Deffinetally portrays the lives of many people nowadays. It's amazing because this poem is oh so true. You don't realize it until it happens though. It is such a pity if i may add. People need to Realize more of what happens around them. Great Poem Though. I Loved It. Keep At it =D

Very well written poem with a powerful meaning behind it. Is life really lived if one does not experience the highs and lows of life. One experiences a mixture of sadness and dispair in the emotional range. The poem does an excellent job of conveying those feelings to the reader. A great job!
