Sometimes I wish
You didn't have a God
Nina
Then perhaps that kiss
Wouldn't make you hate me
Author notes
My first kiss
was a rape to her...
I'm sorry.
I didn't know...

I read the other comments before adding this one so I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but I thought it was funny. Let me explain why. My friend is Catholic and has a girlfriend that has offered to have sex with him many times, but he closely follows his religion and won't accept it. It made me laugh cause he was being sarcastic about it, though he is honest in what he does and says.
As for this short, it was a good short epic as I will call it. I would say epic cause you can pretty much make out your own story just from these few lines. It's strange how something such as a religion that is suppose to make us feel at peace and warm, can backfire on us and fill us with pain and regret.
None the less, a great short Epic.

No offense taken...actually, I find your opinion more honest in some way...connections are always worth more then trivial sympathy...
Yeah, well, she also wasn't a lesbian, so that could have a lot to do with it, but sometimes religion makes people treat you different, just because...you're different...
I've stopped thinking about this years ago, it's too passe...

Thanks for the "epic" though...makes me smile...
Hope you're quest for inspiration is fruitful..

oh that's really sad. I don't think you really express sadness of missing and longing in this, but you definitely get other feelings out there, and I felt your frustration. Great job!
