Whilst fighting for my future, my will no longer strong.
A prayer of mine was answered, a hero came along.
A gentle, caring person, who talked and made things right.
Who took on board my troubles, taught me I need not fight.
For fighting is a fools game and comes to no good end.
It's best to talk things over and share them with a friend.
A friend becomes a lover, the best that there could be.
True love without restrictions, that sets the spirit free.
Support and understanding that comes straight from the heart.
That holds me close for ever, our souls will never part.
The bond of love and friendship, wrapped up in harmony.
Will carry us from this life into eternity.
No need of sword or armour, soft words turn wrath away.
Leave storm clouds in the distance to find a brighter day.
The courage of a lion, within a heart of gold.
So many should do like wise, make themselves from your mould.
For this world would be greater with love to turn it round.
Reflected in your spirit where peace and hope abound.
A miracle was given, the day you came to me.
A hero in love's clothing is what you are to me.
