Shukran...
Allah be most praised...
I guided this hunk of metal through
Blades of grass, through faceless skyscrapers
Shukran...
I looked away from a photograph of my family,
Edges burned away by my insipid flying ability,
Long enough to steer this aeroplane
Away from imminent death
And to think I imagined myself
On Gabriel's magic carpet...
I... I'm almost embarrassed...
Shukran...
Thank you, Muhammad...
For showing me the truth:
Hide behind seven veils
Submit to the cause
Marry a widow
Utilize her moneys...
Shukran jazelan.

Yup! I saw your name on a death list in a vision I had before I clicked onto this poem. LMAO

I'm glad I have Musilm friends so that I knew what "Shukran" meant, especially being that it was the first word in the poem. I don't know why but the title cracks me up. Hahahahaha
I come here often looking for my laugh of the day. I think I may have found it here. LOL The satire is brilliant! Um...I hope no one comes to this page that could be in the least bit offended.

Much Love ♥

You should be on some death list just on general principles. I mean look what you do to poetry!
